WELCOME TO OUR CHURCH!!
The Bible tells us to "Seek
ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things
shall be added unto you"
Matthew 6:33. As you may be seeking a church for you and your family to
attend, we certainly want to extend a warm invitation for you to come pay us
a visit.
Lake Road Baptist Church is an independent, Fundamental Baptist Church
that stands for the verbal inspiration of the scriptures, the deity of Jesus
Christ, salvation by grace through faith, New Testament soul-winning, and
the premillenial return of Christ; opposing Humanism, worldliness, and
formalism.
It is our hearts desire to tell the old old story that Jesus saves, the
Bible is true, and the Christian life is the only way to live; knowing
Heaven will be worth it all.
I hope there has been a time in your life that you can remember seeing
yourself as a lost sinner, knowing hell was your eternal destiny, but then
you learned of God's amazing grace to forgive you of your sin by trusting
Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and trusting Him to forgive you for
being the sinner you are and to come into your heart and save you. The
Bible assures us, "If
we confess our sins, He (Jesus) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"
I John 1:9. "For
whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved"
Romans 10:13.
